Stealth Typer

  1. Nice find. Do you like the feel of the Noiseless? People seem to love them or hate them. Either way, it's a great looking machine!

    1. Thanks Bryan. I'm not a fan of the typing action, but it *is* very quiet. I'll probably use it for late night typing sessions when I don't want to disturb the household.

  2. Nice Noiseless. I need to get mine cleaned and find out if that solves the skip problem. You are not alone on getting more typewriters when some should go. I have that problem constantly.

    1. Always nice to know I'm not the only one with this problem ;)

    2. Hopefully cleaning will solve your skip. I'm still learning the mysteries of the carriage, so I can't offer much guidance.

  3. That's a lovely machine. I like the art deco or whatever the look is of the typewriters of the late 30's and '40's. When my Noiseless comes up in my rounds through the daily typers the touch is a bit of a surprise at first, but then we get along fine. It does make a nice, even imprint, and actually is quieter than the others - especially compared to my "new" Underwood No. 5 which sounds like a Gatling gun.

  4. Ooh, there's a nice one!

Did you enter it into the database yet? It could be #710 unless someone beats you to it! :D
