2016 Phoenix Type-In

Hello Typosphere! It's been too long. I won't apologize, as life is good and I'm happy and busy.

It feels like cheating; not typing this on one of my machines. But time is short, and the reason for the post isn't my text.

I just got my first roll of film, with a few shots from this year's type in, back from the processor. These are from my Canonet III-QL with Delta 400 and natural light (for fellow film nerds.) More to come as rolls are developed.

Hope you are well,
Erik

  1. Good to see some real photos instead of digital imaging.

    1. Thanks Bill. Digital is fine, but I think film has more character.

  2. Excellent! weird, for some reason I thought you were shooting with a fancy, motorized Pentax, not a Canonet (:

    1. You're probably thinking of the AE-1 I was using at the Type-In. The Pentax made an appearance when we met up with Linus at MTE. I need to get out and finish both of those rolls of film.
